| it's been a long time. it's finals again. one year later.

I guess it's been long enough.
I just really don't have anything to say....
well...nothing interesting, at least.
My pictures are coming out tiny on here...
Ohhh well.
So this is "Finals Week"....
My first semester of college will officially
be over once I turn in my
Sociology final exam on Saturday.
LSU is delightful...college is just
as great as I had hoped it would be.
I have made beautiful friends....some of whom
are graduating...or doing something else
stupid like that. I hate when people leave....
it's always so....sad, for a lack of better words.
So...a lot has happened since my last post...
My sister is engaged to be married on
April 1, 2006. I'm ecstatic and
can't believe I'm gaining another brother....
I saw Sufjan back in September....he was
amazing beyond reason. There's not much
else you can say about it, really. You just
have to experience it for yourself. I did
decide that I want to visit Nashville more
often, though. I'm in love with that city....
and so is Bec.
So I think the break is going to be pretty
eventful. I believe we're only going to be
home for about one of the four weeks
we have off. The rest of our time will be
consumed with traveling like a mad man to
and from Jackson, Bastrop, and Baton Rouge,
and then skiing in Colorado in January.
And New Years looks promising....
It's time to take a bath and hit the sack.

I don't know what college has done to me...
I've never had Asian food before and last week I had sushi for the first time.
Two nights later, I ate Chinese...like orange/sesame seed chicken.
Then Saturday I ate Greek/Lebanese.
I'm such a little culture explorer.
Friday is the Big Day...
We leave for Nashville at about 9:30 that morning.
..........Sufjan...........Stevens..............
ahhhh.
I'll give you a play by play once I return.
I don't think I'll be able to come home for a few weeks.
That kind of makes me sad.
I don't know what my problem is, but I miss home/friends like crazy.
I'm ready for another unexpected week long break...not b/c of a hurricane though.
But because I deserve it for going to class, unlike most of the kids here.
